Explore Living
Explore Living is the residential development arm of Laing O'Rourke, bringing enhanced value and greater customer choice to Britain’s residential marketplace. Explore Living has purpose-built a unique and specialist team, which aims to offer the ‘total solution’ in terms of social, economic and environmental development. The team will address the areas of the marina which are in most need of regeneration, mainly in the western area, which includes the Asda site adjacent to the ramp access, the roundabout to the base of the ramp, the petrol filling station, the McDonalds site and many areas in between, such as cycle and pedestrian ways, which need improvement. These are outside of the Brunswick Development and Black Rock planning application areas currently being considered.

Allies & Morrison
Bob Allies and Graham Morrison established Allies and Morrison in 1984 following their success in the competition for the redesign of the public space at the Mound, Edinburgh. The practice now employs over 200 people. Masterplanning is a major part of Allies and Morrison’s work. Battle McCarthy is a world-leading consultancy who support Architects and Urban Designers to prepare comprehensive sustainable Development Frameworks that cover economic, social and environmental issues. Battle McCarthy bring international experience and knowledge of sustainable infrastructure and building design, environmental analysis, sustainability auditing and sustainable business development to the project. Its approach will also incorporate landscape services which focus on using ecological design, sustainable materials, hydrology and sustainable urban drainage and recycled materials. Outerspace

Colin Buchanan
Colin Buchanan employs 170 traffic specialists covering transport planning, traffic engineering, planning and regeneration, urban design and traffic modelling. Commissioned by the UK Minister of Transport they produced the seminal “traffic in towns” report which is widely regarded as the starting point of modern transportation planning. It recognised both the benefits of the “go-anywhere self powered machine for transport and personal locomotion”, as well as the threat posed by the car to urban and rural environments. Colin Buchanan has been at the forefront of developments in public transport aimed at providing an alternative to the car. Nathaniel Lichfield and Partners (NLP) is an independent town planning consultancy founded in 1962 to provide specialist advice on all aspects of the planning process. The organisation has a strong community programme, contributing to Brighton & Hove local affairs and the business community through a range of local committees and organisation of several major local events, including the Sussex Business Awards and the Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival. Priory PR & Events worked with Parkridge Developments on the Brighton Marina Supplementary Planning Guidance, passed by the planning committee in 2003.

EIDOS ARTS is a young company providing consultancy for integration of Public Art in public spaces.
